Should i transfer out of Townsend Harris High School ?

Townsend Harris is a REALLY good high school. its one of the top 100 in america but, as school started i thought i would like it and learn to love it but i was wrong. the teachers give a lot of work and homework and in some cases, as in geometry i have to come home and basically teach myself or else i wont understand anything at all. im currently failing all my classes, getting a 47 on a geometry test and a 69 on a biology test considering they base your grades mostly on test scores. ive never gotten grades this low before. i was always a high 90 student in middle school. they offer after school enrichment, which is like tutoring but i cant go because i have to go to clubs. the gym is HORRIBLE. making us run like 2 miles outside in bad weather D: and im a horrible runner. seriously. lol. also, i cant seem to socialize well with the other students. i made some friends but basically they already formed these "groups" so im just there like =l so yeah, i honestly don't like this school and i really want to transfer out but i REALLY don't want to regret it later on. im considering into transferring into a good high school that will give less work. im considering High School for Construction, Trades, and Engineering, Thomas A. Edison High School, or Forest Hills. i have friends who go to these high schools so i don't know. =l anything i should know about these schools could be helpful. im really confused because i really want to do good academically, but townsend is only making me feel dumb and pushing me to my limit. i also don't know how to convince my parents into transferring out of this "great" school. i don't know what to do >.< help ?
