Do I need a license to put Disney or sesame street characters on the clothing that I'll be making?

I'm planning to make a website to sale childrens clothes that I make myself. Do I need a lisence to put a Disney or sesame street character on my clothes? Or permission? Any advice with experience will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
